Kensington Olympia is an important station in west London serving the vast Olympia trade exhibition halls. This ticket is dated 26th November 1957 when the station still had 6 platforms and was an important stop for regional trains. It was downgraded for many years from the 196os and then revived for the orbital London Overground services that run between Willesden Junction, Kensington Olympia and Clapham Junction. The line and the station on it are now booming. I’ve used this station via the District Line and the West London Line to get to various exhibitions and trade shows at Olympia over the years.
