Principles of Professional Communication

It is empowering to know the ways in which you and your business are communicating are based on best practice within the communications industry. Of course you should trust your intuition and your organisational knowledge, but ‘received wisdom’ handed down can also be plain ‘wrong wisdom’! So we offer these eight modules as refreshers for people working in the communications industry, perhaps just starting out or newly hired or transferred; or putting together a new team.

We created this programme for you.

For non-native English speakers this is also a great opportunity to practice and improve your English skills talking about communications.

The Principles of Professional Communication Course… improves your confidence and your knowledge.

You get the peace of mind of knowing the best practice used around the UK communications industry from the Government Communications Service, government departments and large multinational corporations. We work with you to help you apply this knowledge practically to your own team and organisation, so you get the maximum practical value from these principles. We’re not fans of knowledge just for its own sake and much prefer helping people apply knowledge to their real jobs.

What you get:

  • Choose from a single module or any number up to all 8.
  • Each module lasts approximately half a day so they can be scheduled as appropriate. All 8 modules can be done over 4 days.
  • One-to-one personal tuition via video. In real-life training rooms we’ve run these modules for groups of 10-11. However via video we’re happy to run these for up to 3 people at no extra cost.
  • Tailored to your specific requirements for immediate use, including exercises based on real situations and topical issues in your own sector where possible.
  • All of these modules can form important parts of your future Strategic Communications Plan.
  • Your tutor is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (MCIPR) with many years expert knowledge of the communications industry in London and the Middle East, in English and Arabic, across a range of organisations. So you benefit from rich knowledge across each topic and module.
  • Unlimited support for the duration of your course.
  • Continuing support for the month following your course.
  • The price for each module is £250, for up to 3 people. If you book for all 8 modules the price is £1750, a saving of @£250.*

PLUS, for non-native English speakers and learners: Improve your practical skills AND improve your English language skills with a native English speaker who is a MCIPR communications professional and qualified EFL teacher. This is the course a doubly efficient use of your time!
